Fascial Maneuvers
🌀 Fascial Maneuver Classes in St. Louis, MO + Virtual Options:
Are you ready to reconnect with your body, ease pain, and support your natural ability to heal?
We all have values that are important to us. One of my values is to continue learning and integrating what I learn into my life, as well as into teaching others what has helped me. Not only is it essential for me to stay as healthy and vital as possible, but I also enjoy inspiring others to find greater health and vitality in their lives.
With this spirit, I am sharing something new in my toolbox. I am a certified Fascial Maneuver Coach trained by Human Garage, offering weekly in-person classes in St. Louis and virtual sessions via Zoom for anyone ready to feel better in their body.
I have become a coach to help others and myself through movements and exercises that release and unlock our fascia, which has become adhered and stuck over time, causing pain, dysfunction, and reduced movement capacity and range of motion.
At first, I became interested in this work to help myself. I had a challenging year, and my physical health was impacted. I had joint pain, I tended towards constipation, and my left leg felt like it didn't belong to me. As I began doing these maneuvers and learning how fascia works, what it is made up of, and how it influences every part of my body, I became even more interested.
In addition, I was very intrigued by their emphasis on self-healing. Not enough of us humans know how to work with ourselves and heal ourselves as much as possible without always needing to enlist others for help. Please understand, I know we all need help and intervention at times. Not enough of us are empowered, nor do we know how to work with ourselves. I love how the fascial maneuver works; it teaches us how to work with ourselves, be in touch with our bodies in the present moment, listen to ourselves, and when we need to, also reach for outside assistance.
🌿 What Are Fascial Maneuvers?
The fascia is a thin, strong, spiderweb-like connective tissue that surrounds our muscles, bones, tendons, ligaments, and even organs. Over time, stress, trauma, or injury can cause it to tighten and restrict, leading to pain, tension, decreased mobility, and even emotional holding. Emotional stress, injury, trauma, or repetitive strain can cause the fascia to tighten, harden, or form adhesions, which can lead to pain, restriction, and emotional blocks.
Fascial maneuvers combine gentle, intentional movement, opposing forces, breathwork, and awareness to:
-
Release adhesions and stuck tissue
-
Improve mobility and flexibility (range of motion)
-
Reduce chronic pain and discomfort
-
Support lymphatic drainage and circulation
-
Encourage emotional release and nervous system regulation
-
Reconnect you to your body’s intelligence
As fascia releases, it can also release stored memories, emotions, and sensations. You don’t have to feel everything consciously for the work to be effective — the body knows how to heal when given the right support.
Move Freely. Breathe Deeply. Heal from the Inside Out.
🪷 Inclusive Movement for All Bodies
This work is accessible to every body — whether you’re an athlete, use a walker, or prefer seated movement. Every exercise can be modified for your unique needs.
These classes are designed to work with and help anyone, regardless of their inabilities, disabilities, or restrictions. For those who don't have the balance or are unable to stand without aid, we can modify the movements and also perform them while sitting or lying down, so you can participate safely and comfortably.
Each class begins with a series of gentle maneuvers designed to reset the fascia and nervous system, followed by targeted movements to address different areas of the body.
You’ll also learn:
-
Specific breathing techniques that enhance tissue release
-
How to listen to your body in real time
-
How to distinguish between structural and emotional tension
-
How to bring this practice into your daily self-care routine
With my background as a chiropractor, athlete, and dancer, I have a trained eye for alignment and functional movement — and I help you understand what your body is saying at both the surface and deep levels.

“These simple movements helped me reconnect with my body in a way I never thought possible.”
Every time we have a trauma, whether it be emotional, physical injury, or physical and emotional abuse, our fascia is affected. It becomes stuck or hardened, or we develop adhesions or scar tissue. Because it lives on top of our muscles, our whole body then becomes affected as every part is connected. This is also true for our unconscious. Our unconscious lives in every cell of our fascia. As we release parts of our fascia, it also releases memories, feelings, and emotions. We don't always realize that it's happening, so don't worry if you can't feel it; it's still occurring.
🌟 Personalized Support
There are basic ways in which fascia functions and releases. They release through opposing and twisting forces, through good hydration, and breath. During each class, I teach a breathing technique that enhances the release of tissue. As a trained dancer, athlete, and chiropractor, I have a keen eye for analyzing and correcting movements. Through training in listening to the body and our own words, I can effectively hear and interpret the client's language, enabling them to understand their experiences at both a superficial and profound level.
Imagine, with time and consistency, being able to achieve things you once thought were impossible. Picture yourself moving more fluidly, with a noticeable reduction in pain or discomfort in certain areas. Visualize becoming comfortable in your own body, allowing you to release stored emotions and creating space to feel at ease with yourself.
